Like "The Initiation" series, I waited until I finished the series before giving a review. I was disappointed that Alice's voice didn't seem to match the character as she was betrayed in the other series. That woman was vicious and I was looking forward to delving into this woman's psyche. But, instead, she seemed rather boring and mindless - not the ruthless woman who tormented Gina. It could have been a good companion piece, but I felt it fell short of my expectations.Product details

Having read it, I would rate it ZERO! Is there a lower rate than zero?
This is the second book in the series I have read and my last. Not in
my taste at all.
Deliciously dark! I loved the previous books in this series as well as the Initiation. In this latest installment, Aphrodite Hunt turns up her usual heat and splashes it with a good dose of hot, erotic, sensual darkness. Alice is one wicked character, but it's a good match for the equally devious Lord. Ms. Hunt does not play around with BDSM and kink. She embraces it, always upping the ante, and it makes reading these books a hugely naughty (and hugely rewarding) pleasure. Five smoking stars!
